#bethelight – Day 68

This morning I’ve been thinking about the song “Scatter Sunshine.”

This is exactly what #bethelight is all about!

The first verse:

In a world where sorrow ever will be known

Where are found the needy and the sad and lone, 

How much joy and comfort you call all bestow, 

If you scatter sunshine everywhere you go.

Scatter sunshine all along your way.  

Cheer and bless and brighten

Every passing day.

This world is full of people complaining about how things go wrong in their lives.  We need a little more “sunshine” in our lives.  Today I decided to think of ways to infuse my friends and family and my environment with positive feelings.

I can scatter compliments at church.  Everyone likes their good qualities to be noticed.

Text a few compliments.  If you don’t see someone in person, a text of an email can do the trick.

I can sparkle by flashing my pearly whites more.

So, today I will “cheer and bless and brighten” all along my day!1
