#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 146 and 147

I missed yesterday because when I came home I was in some serious pain. My legs and feet cramped up something awful! Yesterday I was so grateful for Lilli and John who worked together to help massage out the cramps and tried to apply heat.

Today I am grateful that the cramps didn’t happen at work. That would be awkward since I am usually yelling and crying because it feels like my feet are being pulled apart and my muscles are being pulled off my bones. I am also grateful for a new day because the night was rough with cramps. I am grateful that they were not so bad that I had to wake up John and Lilli and that getting up and wandering around and standing on my wiggle board thing was enough to calm them down. Still, it was a long night since my cramps got me up 3 or 4 times.

Today I am grateful that I was able to successful teach my 2nd day of in-person learning.

Today I am grateful that John had the chicken cut up when I got home and I didn’t have to touch it to cook it for dinner. I am also thankful for a yummy chicken curry salad for dinner.

Today I am grateful for time to exercise in the pool, hot tub time, a nice shower and time to stick my feet in a massage contraption. That hurts like a son-of-a-gun, but my feet and calves feel less tension. I hope it helps me sleep.

Today I am grateful for a prayer study that had me pondering all day how God manifested himself throughout the day. I can say what I noticed most was that I felt loved. That is an answer to prayer because my “ask” for the day was for forgiveness, peace, my legs to stop the cramping, the opportunity to be a happy and effective teacher, to see miracle in my life and to understand God’s path for me better. Legs and feet may still bother me… I don’t know if I was an effective teacher, but I did see miracles today. I did feel peace today. And I felt loved today.
