#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 152

Today the prayer journey is about gratitude. There are many things I am grateful for today.

Today I am grateful for a decent night’s sleep. Cramps were too bad last night and I could actually sleep.

Today I am thankful for the peace I have felt all day… even when there was chaos around me.

Today I am thankful for a little time to organize myself. A few voice students didn’t come to their lessons and I took the time to get my ducks in a row.

Today I am thankful for the good people I work with.

Today I am thankful for my little garden… and that it is appears that things are growing well.

Today I am thankful for a short chat with McKay. I wish she lived closer so I could carve out more time to help her.

Today I am grateful for left over lentil tomato soup. I normally fast 48 hours over a Monday but I felt that I needed to eat something today and tomato soup really was what I needed.

Today I am grateful for the opportunity to write emails to my two nephews on missions. Email is pretty amazing. I remember the days of snail mail… to took so long to get information out to missionaries then. Now it’s milliseconds.

Today I am grateful for the peace God grants me during stressful moments… and when I remember to pray for those who disagree with me. I witnessed miracles today. The problems didn’t go away, but I was blessed with peace. I am grateful for those miracles.

Today I am grateful for my friendship with my sister friend Jamie. I love my chats with her. I love that I was able to share plants with her. I hope I really am helpful for her.
