Yesterday I wrote a note to a student. It was fun to see her face light up as she read it.
Today is National Day of Listening.
Be an active listener. It is so easy to be distracted by your own thoughts and your environment when someone else is talking. When you are distracted you miss critical details. Let the person who is talking know you are listening. It’s the kind thing to do. Make eye contact and focus. Listen with real intent!
