Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 411 - Today I studied 1 Nephi 9. The phrase, “for a wise purpose” sticks out. Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 410 - Scripture study this morning… how does one change their perspective from “clinging” to the rod to “holding fast” to the rod? This seems of great importance. Really. Those who were clinging to the rod seemed to live and move forward out of fear. Been there. Done that. Fear is a sad way to live. That… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 410
Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 409 - Scripture study this morning was all about the tree Lehi saw and the fruit that was sweet to the taste. I have mapped out this story so many times. I pondered the question, why is it that in… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 406
Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 405 - Today some new thoughts as I pondered the ever famous “go and do” scripture of 1 Nephi 3:7. Going is actually showing up. How many things have I missed because I didn’t… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 405

Gratitude makes room for hope… real hope.  It fans the fire of hope and keeps the fire of joy and laughter alive, warming the soul.

Gratitude is the light that allows us to see in an ever darkening world.

So, join me!  Let’s be thankful to God for 365 day in a row.  Join me in thanking God when the sun shines down on us and when we find ourselves weathering the storms of life.  Let us thank Him for all His goodness in the good times and in the hard times.   Let’s thank Him when He strengthens us and when He restores peace.  Join me for the next year as I ponder on all of His goodness, tender mercies and blessing – large and small – that He showers on our lives each day.
