#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 168

I know I have missed a few days. So many late nights and early mornings. My old body is not handling that well… and then add heat. I am pretty sure I suffered from heat exhaustion today. My head hurts. I an not sweating and I am so hot. Hannah and Lilli poured cold water all over me to cool me down quickly. I am grateful it worked.

Today I am grateful for the progress I made in my garden… even in the heat. I was able to put up a cute little trellis for cucumbers and beans to climb. It’s an arch and I am looking forward to the plants growing over it and the fruit hanging down. I was able to plant beets, several kinds of lettuce. asparagus beans, cucumbers, butternut squash, pumpkins, a couple more tomatoes, radishes, spinach, swiss chard, peas and pole beans. I was hoping to weed the strawberry patch and to plant some strawberry seeds, but I got too hot. I am thankful that Hannah and Jocie helped me with the trellis.

Today I am grateful that Lillie, Karl, Jocie, Hannah and Jordan moved some garbage to the trailer. We are trying to clean up the yard for Lillie party next weekend.

Today I am grateful that John Hatch dropped by. I love that guy.

Today I am grateful that John is trying to work on the deck project. It has a long way to go. We might not make it for the party, but he is doing his best.

Today I am grateful that Hannah helped me power wash the back deck. It’s practically a new deck.

Today I am thankful for my scripture study. I learned some good things. I tried to talk to my friend about it, but I all I learned from that experience is that there are somethings you don’t talk about with other people. I am thankful that when I talked to John about it, we had a pleasant conversation.

Tomorrow is my last week of A classes. Tomorrow I have my last rehearsal before we record the video next Monday. So much to worry about. It will be what it will be. For now, I will shower and go to bed and hope I can sleep.
