Today I am grateful that my classes went okay… despite over planning activities. I totally underestimated the amount of time it would take for kids to get on the lesson, the EdPuzzles and the Kahoot. But, on the upside, it does mean my next two days are planned since all I have to do is finish what I didn’t get to.
Today I am grateful for John. He is a trouper and cleaned up the back yard, got the pool ready, cleaned up the extra room including new sheets on the bed and cleaned up our room and made it ready for McKay’s family visit. They arrive very late tonight. But I have had meeting until 9:30 tonight and did not have time to prep for guests.
Today I am grateful for Lilli going to the store for a few things I needed for the family visist.
Today I am grateful that I made it through the very ambitious rehearsal schedule I gave myself. It is truly a miracle I got through as many pages of blocking I made it through, including choreography. That’s right. I am on to more dances! I am tired!
Today I am grateful for a weekend!… except I will be back at work in the morning from 7-9 to create light cues for Pageant. We record that in a week. There is SO much more to do and no time to do it… especially because I will need to finish planning for 7 different classes and I am losing my prep. Although, I have to admit, I am now a little worried about how I was “bought out” of my A week. I heard from a teacher friend that the district bought out his prep once but did not pay him as originally stated. They paid him as if her were a sub. That doesn’t seem right.
