#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Days 129 and 130

Most definitely, it is in our failures that we do the most learning and growing. I missed yesterday because the family kept me hopping until I hit a wall and collapsed with fatigue. And boy! Do my feet and legs ache!

Today I am thankful that McKay, Myles, and the kids made the trip to visit for Lilli’s birthday. I know that it is hard to travel with young kids. I am grateful they are willing to do it. I am also thankful Kimber, Ray and kids came to visit too!

Today I am thankful that my failed rolls turned out enough to eat. They looked weird though.

Today I am thankful that people ate the steaks I cooked even if I destroyed them… just too many things to pay attention to with soup and fancy baked potatoes and rolls that failed because I didn’t let them raise enough.

Today I am thankful for the hours we spent playing with grand kids in the pool yesterday.

Today I am thankful for time flying kites with John.

Today I am thankful that John and Lilli helped me to pick up all the weeds in the yard and to trim the roses.

Today I am thankful Aleece White’s talk in church.

Today I am thankful for my parents calling me ever Sunday.

Today I am thankful that Kimber helped me cut out a pattern.

Today I am thankful that John changed the sheets on the bed.

Today I am thankful for the Conference talk I read this morning.

Today I am thankful for the sunshine. My face is not tight and sun/wind burned.

Today I am thankful for phone calls from my Jo. I miss her face!

Today I am thankful that John helped me wash the dishes and clean up the kitchen and the back deck.

What are you grateful for this fine day?
