#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 65

Today I am grateful for the Sabbath and for the last time we will be having home church… at least until some other big catastrophe happens. Next week we begin church every week again. It is a huge blessing!

Today I am grateful that I finished few more bears and was able to cut out a few as well. I still have 6 more to cut that are pre ordered. Then I’d like to do a couple pink/ red bears for Valentines and post them for sale for those who may be seeking a gift to give to a loved one. We still have a ways to go before we make enough money on this fund raiser to equal the goal amount. But I am grateful we are making a dent in the goal moneys and I am grateful my back is holding out… barely.

Today I am grateful for a good chat on the phone with my mom. My dad was sick in bed. He got the COVID vaccine on Friday and now he is pretty sick. Adding some prayers in that direction. He has too many of the markers of doom for this virus.

Today I am grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Ben. Nine years ago we were sitting on the couch helping Kimber labor. It was a long night. But we have an amazing miracle in Ben, our first grand child. He is so kind, tender hearted, funny, and he sure gets along well with his Papa John. That is a good thing. Today, as they walked in the door for dinner, John gave him some goggles and started a Nerf gun war. John is a goofball.

Today I am thankful that Kimber stayed to watch a movie with Lilli and to help stuff bears. I will carve out a little time to sew up the back side, add bows and take a picture of each bear so I can have Lilli mail them or deliver them.

What are you grateful for today?
