Wow! Today has been a great day! Lots of good things!
Today I am grateful for a JOB! Today I am grateful that my principal came into my room during my last period with good news… I am FULL TIME in the fall! This has been a long time coming. I’ve worked super hard for this… okay… I did take the backdoor into teaching. But I have learned that I love teaching. I like looking for new ways to be a better teacher. This is super cool news.
Today I am grateful for Awesome Rehearsal. Seriously, the kids were awesome. I am so proud of them and how well they took direction today. I even let them go an hour early because the ROCKED it! This was a doubly cool thing because it was SO HOT out on that playground.
Today I am thankful that Lilli and Jordan went to the store for me…
Today I thankful that John made taco salad and hot dogs for grandies… and CLEANED the kitchen.
Today I am thankful for POOL! It was very refreshing after a long day at work and a hot rehearsal on the playground.
Today I am thankful for my farmer COVID tan. Seriously, I will be outside in rehearsals or teaching a lot this summer. I am going to have tan lines on my face from my masks, no my arms from my shirts and on my legs from the “shorts” I’ve been wearing.
Today I am thankful for scripture study… I learn so much… even when I’ve read that verse thousands of times before.
