#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 181

Today was the last day of “regular” classes. This has been a challenging year to teach. However, I am grateful for the opportunity. I have learned so many valuable lessons from my students. It is sad to see many of these kids moving on, but I am excited for them as they begin new chapters in their lives. Today I am grateful the school year has come to an end. Today I am thankful for my students. Today I am thankful for the school I work at.

Today was also Thespian Inductions and Awards. I am excited for the new Inductees. We have many fun things in store for them… and I am sad to see this class of seniors go. Nearly all of them have been my voice student. Nearly all of them have been in multiple of my classes. Nearly all of them have been in every show, and competition and theatre experience I have ad over the past 4 years. I love these guys. Today I am grateful for an awesome gift from the seniors. I love it!

Today I am grateful that when I got home, john hoped up and made me tofu stir fry.

Today I am grateful that the parent gave me a lovely card and a gift card to a lovely restaurant.

Today I am grateful for a lovely chat with my friend Rachel when I needed to got for a walk down the hall to get away from my desk, and a lovely chat with my friend Jenn at the meet and great for the new Vice Principal.

Today I am grateful for a lovely chat with Jocie. I was fine saying good bye today until Jo was left on stage by herself as all her senior friends got up to take their final bow. It’s okay. She is going to rock next year!

Today I am thankful for a text from Joanna… an awesome reminder of how much love can be between people who rarely see each other.

Today I am grateful for the cutest little fridge that Jeff gave me. I had cold drinks all day.

Today I am grateful for the beautiful world we live in.
