Yesterday I made an effort to be patent during misunderstandings. Yesterday I helped someone who was in need of the help to find something lost. It was a long day, yet it was a good day.
Jesus taught: “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” —Matthew 6:21
There’s nothing wrong with having possessions as long as we don’t lose sight of more important things. When we focus on what really matters and on serving others, we can find real happiness.
Today is another crazy day with work scheduled and all. But I am noticing that #5 is in some serious need of some one-to-one time. Her life is about to change drastically and she is stressed and sad about being the only child left at home. Today I will find time do take her for hot chocolate or a burger, something she enjoys, just so she can feel loved.
