The Bully Plays are going well! I am so proud of the students I work with on a daily basis. They are truly making a difference in spreading kindness in the world. Tonight is the last full night of the sow. We will get to perform a couple of times next week during our class time. Teachers will be invited to come up to the auditorium with their classes. I hope they come. These plays are a great reminder why it maters that we “be nice.”
Today for my efforts in kindness I am going to look up. I can’t tell you how many times I am teaching a class, having a conversation, or even, having dinner and everyone’s head is buried in their tiny screens. Today I am going to practice putting down my cell phone and looking up. I am going to work on making eye contact. Person to person. I consider this a major act of kindness and courtesy.
