#bethelight – Day 92

Today I have been thinking about my friends.  How lucky am I?  I have great friends.  I do have to say how much I miss one friend in particular.  My friend Jo is more like a sister.  She knows my faults and loves me anyway.  No matter the distance that separates us, our differences in extra curricular activities (I’m artsy and she’s sporty), and time spent apart, we pick it up as if we saw each other or spoke to each other a couple of hours ago.  I am seeing that this kind of friendship is rare.  I love ya sis!

So for my kindness act of the day I decided to be the kind of friend Jo is with everyone I saw today.  With each exchange I had today, I’d think, “This one’s for you Jo.” (who, by the way, is the most optimistic and thrifty person I know).

So… I took a friend, a teacher, a snack and a bottle of water during her long day of finals.

I helped a friend grade.

I helped a kid with sing.

I let some kids find refuge near me during lunch.

I bought doughnuts for a class on their last day of my helping in their class.

What did you do to spread light in the world?
