Today is Earth Day. It is celebrated in 184 countries to promote a healthy environment and a peaceful planet. 
It’s a great day to give thanks for for this wonderful world God has provided for us with all its nurturing nature, bounty, and beauty. Since it is the Sabbath I won’t be running around to plant trees or clean up beaches. However, I will go for a walk with my daughter today after church. I will spend the week doing things to protect the planet God graciously provided. I will recycle. I will be conscious of my impact on the planet. I am hoping to leave some of it’s wonder and beauty and bounty for my grandchildren.
