Today I was a sub. Let me tell you… teachers do not get enough credit. Teachers are not only responsible for the subjects they teach. They are responsible for the well being of the students. They are often called upon to be a nutritionist, a counselor, a booboo fixer, and mediator. They often spend 1000 for their own dollars to purchase supplies for their own classrooms and for the students they serve. They really don’t get enough for the hours they put in. So thanks teachers! My hats off to you and all that you do to keep kids safe, to keep kids healthy, and, if you are lucky inspire real learning.
