
It has now been one whole year since I started my journey to develop an attitude of gratitude. I have learned a thing or two as I have made an effort to look for the good each day.
I have read multiple articles that claim that gratitude improves health. Now, I really don’t know if my year of keeping a public gratitude journal has kept me physically healthier, but I can say I believe it has helped me to be emotionally and spiritually healthier… and happier.
I have noticed more blessing … simple things like a roof over my head, a job I enjoy, family, friends, cars the work, running water, warmth in my home, clothes to wear and food to eat, education, electricity, and people who bless me on a daily basis.
Have I changed over the past year? I would like to think so. I like what I see so much that I think I am going to continue this exercise.
