Yesterday I gave out compliments all day. It was fun! However, I did notice that many people were skeptical of my sincerity. It’s like they never hear a compliment so when they do hear one they think the person giving a compliment is after something. I made an effort to ensure that I was sincere. Made we should all dish out a few more compliments every day. Perhaps, then, it won’t be such a surprise to people.
Today I will look for an unsung hero at work and send a gratitude email to that coworker who deserves more recognition. Tons of people work hard in the school I work/volunteer at on a daily basis. I think its time to acknowledge their efforts!
