I enjoyed my face-to face interactions yesterday. It is so much easier to truly communicate!
When I was a kid I loved to sneak my parents’ copy of Reader’s Digest (it’s a magazine that came in the mail – a definition for all those too young to remember magazines and even “mail”) so that I could read all of the Laughter is the Best Medicine section before my dad got to it first.
There is most definitely enough sadness in the world. There needs to be more laughter… more giggles!
Laughter is the kind of catchy thing I’d like to catch! Laughing with others draws us close together. A good giggle contributes to your sense of well-being. Laughter reduces the stress response
Laughter boosts immunity. Laughter increases resilience, causing us to be happier and more successful! Laughing at mistakes allows us to recognize that making errors is part of being human and part of the learning process.
Laughter combats depression and pain.
Today I will make humor a priority. I will look for the “bright side of life.” I will find the fun in work. I will also practice knowing what is funny and what is not funny. Laughing at the expense of others isn’t funny.
