Today I hired a local teen to help me in my yard. I don’t have a ton of money, but I can get some money together to help a hard working young man earn a little money for his mission. It is seriously difficult for teens to get jobs these days. Laws designed to “protect” young workers limit their working possibilities. Personally, I believe it is good for kids to work. How else are they going to learn how to earn, save, and budget their earnings when their opportunities to earn are so limited. This young man is one of the hardest working teens I have ever met. I wish more kids knew how to work and to take pride in their work like he does.
