Wow…. I was so busy yesterday. I went to the chiropractor, chatted with good friends, went to the Farmer’s Market and bought a few plants to put in my garden and a couple veggies. The farmers at the Farmer”s Market were so cool. When I bought some leeks and lettuce I told the farmer to keep the change. They were shocked. Next, I hit the grocery store. Then I headed home and worked in the garden with my husband. He often works in the garden alone. I think he really appreciated the fact that he didn’t need to work alone. This year I finally feel a little better and can get out there. I got the groceries put away and chopped all the veggies for the week. I made a nice soup and scone for dinner with the missionaries. I helped Lilli watch and play with Ben, Freya, and Holland. I caught up with our friend Jacob. In the evening, we went to see the new Avengers movie. It was planned to be a date, but Lilli wanted to see the movie so we brought her along. It felt like a day of success and a day of bringing light and happiness to others.
A good day.
Today is the Sabbath. Today I will focus on my testimony, my faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ. Today I will spend more time with family.
