There are somethings that are hard to hear. I am wondering if it an act of kindness to quietly listen and take them in. Then, I also wonder about the phrase, “the wicked take the truth to be hard.” Perhaps the real act of kindness is to take the things that are hard to hear and make adjustments. Sure, those adjustments may benefit the person expressing the hard thing, thus becoming an act of kindness. However, could the real act of kindness be for the listener? I wonder.
