Yesterday was a very long and frustrating day. I got home so very late and was too tired to write. Even though it was a frustrating day with many things going wrong, I was able to think of a few things to be grateful for when I said my prayer at the end of the day.
I am grateful my daughter will be understanding that her cookies will be stale since I couldn’t get to the post office before it closed. I know her and she will be pleased to get a box.
I am grateful I had enough cash on my piano from voice lessons to cover my groceries when my bank card was declined. It was stolen a couple weeks ago. I got a new card and an new pin, but I am still having trouble accessing me own money.
I am grateful I was able to help two people I adore work through a bump in the road.
Today is the Sabbath. Today we went to the Stake Center for an “extra” Stake Conference. Elder Cooke came to visit our stake. It was a good meeting. I took a note via text because John was heading to Utah for work for the week and wanted to know what was said.
I am grateful for living prophets.
I am grateful for family.
I am grateful for my husband’s safe travel and that he will get to spend a little time with the kids living in Utah before they don’t live there anymore.
I am grateful I got a few minutes to study my scriptures.
