A couple of weeks ago, I took anyone that would get in the car and went to the zoo. John, McKay and Chad elected to stay home. McKay needed to do school work. John wanted to work in the yard. Chad wanted to sleep. However, Kimber, Ray, Ben, Hannah, Lillian, JennieLinn, and Maliah were game for some fun. Ben was stinking cute. He attracted more attention than some of the zoo animals in his little moose suit and constant smiles. I believe we brought the zoo to the zoo. LOL!
Lillian and Maliah were constantly looking at the map trying to where we should go next.
Ben just liked “Looking”. He is learning so fast!
JennieLinn and Hannah explored every inch of the zoo… even the gopher holes.
Liliian and Maliah climbed onto every statue… they were true monkeys.
They even all tried their hand at “planking”. We can now say we went “planking” at the Portland zoo.
We petted the animals…
We sat in the shade….
We planked some more….
And again…
And again…
We were tired…. it was a long walk!
We ate lunch.
Ben was interested in food…
Lillian wasn’t sharing….
Hannah and JennieLinn checked out what it would be like to be an nocturnal animal.
Friends! 🙂
At the end of the day we went to the zoo store…
And had to try even the little door…
After all, we were going to buy FUDGE!
It was a great day at the zoo.
We all….
… jumped for joy! It was a great day at the zoo. All the animals were out and around so that we could enjoy them. The waether was awesome! I ended the day by going to the temple. Ray was kind of enough to drive the rest of the party home. Awesome day!
