Today I’ve been thinking… there is something about a handwritten note that feels more meaningful than a text or an email. Seriously! In a day and age where convenience trumps sentiment, we long for that one little thing that is personal, that something you can hang one to forever.
When was the last time you got a letter in the mail? There is a reason why it is so exciting to open the mail box and to receive a letter.
The great thing about a handwritten letter is that it doesn’t have to be fancy to be meaningful. It says, “you are important to me and I am willing to to take the time to write down a few thoughts.”
So, today I decided to express thanks the old school way. I decided to write someone a handwritten letter. Sometimes you just have to slow down and show someone that love them.
Want to join me? It’s a great way to spend your Sabbath. 🙂
