Cashew Cabbage

1 small onion, diced

2 stalks celery, thinly sliced

1 carrot, cut julienne

1 bell pepper, cutt julienne

1 c sliced mushrooms

1 c cashews

1/4 c white cooking wine

1/4 c soy sauce

1 bag shredded cabbage

1 tsp minced garlic


  1. Heat a non-stick pan.  Stir fry onion, garlic, carrot, and celery for 5 minutes.
  2. Add mushrooms, peppers and cashews and stir fry for 3 minutes.
  3. Add cooking wine, soy sauce and cabbage.  Steam for 5 minutes.
  4. Add pepper to taste if needed
