Yesterday I took Lilli, John, Lilli’s friend and Jeff to the Portland area to see Mama Mia. It was good to get out and do some socializing.
Today I donated 90 minutes of my time to someone think about renting the stage some time next year. Although she clearly didn’t understand why policies are as they are, she was able get her questions answered. I have no idea if she will end up producing her dance companies piece at the school, but she now knows the possibilities and the limitations. And, because she is donating the proceeds of her production to someone else, I decided to not charge her for my time… even though I could since today’s time is not a part of my school contract. She might not see it as an act of kindness… but it was.
