This time I have a good excuse for not writing over the past couple of days. McKay has needed my help. On Monday evening I ran out of the house because McKay said she was having contractions. After helping with bedtime, we headed to the hospital for a bit. They eventually sent us home and told her to rest. We tucked her into bed around 12:30. I tried sleep on the couch for a bit. Thankfully, John brought me my snuffy and I slept a little better for an hour. Then McKay called from upstairs. I sat with her until 4:30 in the morning. Then she finally fell asleep. I got a few more hours of sleep before the children were running around. In the morning I took her to a doctor appointment. The doctor was worried about her blood pressure and sent us to the hospital to be monitored. We were there until 1-ish. At that point they sent her home. I went home and took a shower and headed to rehearsal. I was able to get a good night sleep. I am coming down with something. My head hurts and I can’t breath. I went to work today and rehearsal.
In all… I am grateful that McKay and the baby are still healthy.
I am grateful McKay lives close enough for me to help her when I can.
I am grateful for an early bed time.
I am grateful for Tylenol.
I am grateful for my husband doing his best to help me.
I am grateful that my teenager is doing well in school and in rehearsal and is doing well with “friendships.”
