I love this quote. First, what’s not to love from Winnie the Pooh and Piglet? Second, I too feel like I have a very small heart, yet I am beginning to notice the gratitude filling it.
Today I am grateful for my husband, who although today is his birthday, he is in the other room doing dishes. I am grateful for the laughs we have together. I am grateful for how he tries to support me in all my goofy activities. I am grateful for how he love our kids and grand kids and how much they love him. I can tell you… He is the favorite grand parent around here.
I am grateful for Kimber who made dinner and a sugar free desert for him for his birthday while I was at work all day and into the evening.
I am grateful for the opportunities I have to serve others.
I am grateful for my parents. Today my dad had an emergency surgery for a blood clot. He is also having a little trouble with his heart. I am grateful for a surgeon’s steady hand and for doctors who know how to help him. I am super grateful for him. He has taught me what it means to forgive. He has taught me what it means to lose yourself in service. He has taught me what it means to work hard. I am glad he gets to stick around and teach me more good things.
