I am still working on my health journey, but I have lost focus… especially in taking pictures of meals and reporting… and even in tracking every morsel, calorie, and mirco-nutrient. I think that I lost focus and interest in tracking all that stuff when after being on a plateau for several months. Sure, I lost a ton of weight the first year of the program, but I haven’t lost anything for the past 2 years. However, I recently have been reading a couple of interesting books that have been giving me food for thought on resetting my mind set… the Eastern medicine way. In the next couple of weeks I will be sharing some of the things I have learned along the way.
Meanwhile, as for meals. Sunday I made a pot of Minestrone soup and a few veggie wraps. Since only my husband seems to want to eat my veggie foods, I ended up eating minestrone for breakfast and dinner all week. For lunch I ate the veggie wraps. They were pretty soggy by the end of the week. Not exactly appetizing.
As I approach 2020, I’d like to get my focus back and jump start my health quest.
Wish me luck!
