Yesterday is a blur. I worked and worked and worked. It was an extra long day. But at the end of my long day my daughter really wanted to go to the store… so I took her. Sometimes it is important to sacrifice for the people you care about.
Today will be another long day. I am going to work extra hard to be kind. When you are tired it is easy to let things slide. But there is power in simple acts of human kindness. Return the cart at the grocery store… help an elderly person with their bags… open doors for people… Say “hi” to people… smile! Every day we can choose to take the high road.
