Today was a long day, but in a good way.
Today I taught a voice lesson. I tried something new and it really did help the student match pitch. I am grateful for little ideas and inspiration.
Today I got Lilli and Ethan to help me, and we loaded up McKay and Myles’ stuff and took it to their house. Then we set up their Christmas trees and bedding so that they would have somewhere to sleep when they pulled in late. I am grateful that we got to serve. I am grateful that two strong teens helped. I am grateful that, although they can snap at each other, these two friends work well together.
Today we worked the last rental of the year. I am grateful I don’t need to go into work for several days. Maybe I will get to catch things up at my house. Maybe.
I am grateful that McKay and Myles got to their house safely. It was a long day on the road with three less than happy kids, and winter roads. It is a blessing that they are snuggled down in their beds.

I am grateful that you are a thoughtful and hard-working mom that saw a need and met it, as is your way. I am grateful that Lilli and Ethan are happy helpers. I am grateful for the help snd support of my family and friends. I am grateful for a job that aligns with my children’s school breaks.
