Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 277, 278, 279, 280

Okay… so the past few day I was not in range of writing my blog. I was in the woods at camp with my drama kids. That didn’t stop me from making a list of grateful things.

I am grateful for my bed! After 2 night not sleeping in my bed I was SO grateful to get back in it!

I am grateful for my teenager who would walk slow up and down big hills and would let me lean on her. The hills made my feet hurt even more. She was a life saver.

I am grateful that the kids I went with were great and learned many great things.

I am grateful that my husband made me soup when I got home.

I am grateful for a real shower!

I am grateful for the texting chat I had with my bestie! My I miss that girl!

I am grateful that Kimber kept the dog while I was gone.

I am grateful that John and Hannah traveled safely for their hike in the mountains.

I am grateful that my first week (a short week) of school went well. Now I am on to week 2.

Today I quit my job at CET (my summer gig). I am grateful for the years I worked their, the friends I made, and the things I’ve learned. It’s nothing personal. I just need to take some time for me – hopeful to rest and heal and get this health thing under control. Plus, it looks like I may be heading back to college over the summer to get a masters. I’m going to need a slower summer to pull that off! I am grateful for my friend Dani. She’s the best. I will miss working with her everyday, but I will be there for her if she needs me.
