Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 224

I am grateful that I can use my talents to help support the needs and wants of my family. My husband works hard (in fact, he is washing the dishes currently because he knows I am wiped out and wants to help). It just helps to have a the small income I make doing theatre things and voice lessons.

I am tired the day is over. I am so tired.

I am thankful for the answers I received for the Spirit about problems I needed to solve at work today. There were some engineering questions I was unsure of and I somehow got the inspiration. I can only attribute it to God. Thankfully, He cares about even the silly little stresses I face daily.

I am thankful for veggies. I wasn’t “feeling” like food today. But I didn’t want to waste all the great veggies I have from the farmer lady. I cut up a fresh onion, some mushrooms, 3 small zucchinis, and added some spices and a jar of my home canned tomatoes. It hit the spot, so much so, that I realized I was hungry and that hunger was perfectly met.

Again, I am thankful for the partly cloudy day. I am loving that I am not roasting through this CET season.

I am thankful that I have a few, really good kids at CET this year. They are a pleasure to work with.

I am thankful for some time to sing with Hannah. Her talent far exceeds mine. I so want her to use that talent, much more than I did. She could truly bless the world and lift others with her voice. She really doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life… but would love seeing her in some shows in my really old age.

I am grateful for some time in my scriptures and some thoughts to ponder about revelation and angels… things to think about.
