#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 28

I’m bummed that I missed yesterday. I guess I got busy doing my thing and some how thought I had already written things.

Today I spent the morning working a rag doll for one of my grand daughters. I intended on finishing a second one and starting a teddy bear today. However, I was blessed with a surprise visit from Jacob. I am thankful for my friendship with Jacob and with other former theatre students. They are like family to me. He usually only stays for a couple hours at most. Today we visited all day. He even helped John clean out the chicken coop and carried apples out to Goldie Burton’s car. He sat down and had dinner with John and I and asked if he could sleep on the couch. silly boy. No! You are sleeping on the spare bed. He brought his dog too. Little Bear fit right in. I am grateful for visits with kids like Jacob, who are no longer kids but awesome adults. It helps to remind me that I may not be the greatest at everything, but I can still make a difference in the world, even if it’s it one teen at a time.

Today I am also grateful that John did the grocery shopping so we were ready for family dinner.

Today I am grateful that I could hang out in my pajamas all day.

Today I am grateful for a little rest and relaxation with a family movie night watching Godzilla.

Today I am grateful for the rain. It really does sound cool on the deck roof.

What are you grateful for?
