#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 28

Today I got a new calling in church. I am grateful I had the opportunity to teach Gospel Doctrine for the past few years. I do love teaching, especially teaching in the gospel setting. I am sad to see that go. Now I will be serving in the Relief Society Presidency as the 2nd counselor. This will bring some challenges. At least I really like the women I will be serving with.

Today I am grateful for a long visit with Jacob. He spent the night but the goofball insisted on sleeping on the couch when I have a perfectly nice bed. He will be back in about a week. We will be his in between stop as he passes by from his dad’s place to his own. He’s a good kid.

Today I am grateful for Sundays. I didn’t really get to do as much “Sunday” things as I had hoped. But I did get a little done on the Christmas dolls I am making for the grand children.

Today I am grateful for some yummy Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes. I enjoyed it, even if it didn’t really interest the rest of the family. win some… don’t win some.

Today I am grateful for the rain. We have got a lot of rain today. I am hoping for snow this winter. Maybe I’ll get lucky.

Today I am grateful for the chats I have with my parents every Sunday.
