#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 42

Long day! Today was the first day back to school for teachers. Meetings. ALL. DAY. LONG. Then voice lessons. Then a RS training meeting. My brain hurts.

Today I am grateful I have a job. I hope I do it well. I do love teaching.

Today I am grateful that Lilli is a generous person, willing and able to help people in need.

I love the lesson in my A Year of Positive Thinking book by Cyndie Spiegl.

“Every experience that you have is simply one moment in time. Every moment that you struggle within, sit in, or dance your way through will eventually pass. This truth applies to all things – the good and the difficult, the darkness and the light, the just and the unjust. It is all transit, momentary. There is both grace and wisdom in knowing that this moment, too, will eventually pass.”

It is amazing how this random book, fit so perfectly with the impressions I get while studying my scriptures and contemplating gospel messages. God is amazing!

Also… I am becoming more and more aware that I need to carefully choose how to nourish my present awareness.

Today I am grateful for my good friends, Jeff who helped me with a computer issue, Jo who celebrated with me over Marco Polo, and Josh and Jamie who always teach me something new.

Today I am thankful for a good family.

What are you thankful for today.
