Today I am grateful I had the opportunity to take a 4 hour nap. I got the crud that my whole family got and have been in bed for the past two days. Today my body slept and I am hoping I sweat this bug out.
I am thankful that I finished the Book of Mormon before the end of the year as counseled by the prophet. Okay… so I did a lot of reading yesterday and today, but I have read and studied is nearly everyday since President Nelson issued the challenge. I read it and circled every name for Christ in the book. At the end of this exercise I have increased my testimony that Jesus is the Christ. Most pages of the Book of Mormon mention and testify of Christ. In fact, I think I only saw a couple pages where I did not circle a name for Christ. In addition, I feel good about accomplishing a challenge from a prophet. That feels good.
I am thankful that my son is willing to drive my 15 year old to the New Year’s dance. I haven’t really got out of bed and at least she will be able live it up ecause he is willing to be her wheels and keep her safe.
