#gratitude, gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude Experiment 2.0 Day 5

Today I didn’t do my usual 22:2 IF. I think I’m paying for it now. I’m a bit achy and I have a headache. Of course, I’ve had a headache for a couple of days… so who knows. Today I am grateful foe Ibruprophen! Plus, I may even turn in early… so there is that to be grateful for.

Today I am grateful for Hannah, Lilli, Riley, Carson and John who all worked throughout the day on my latest wild hair project. I’m actually pretty excited about this project. I miss McKay and her family and COVID-19 is cramping my style and not allowing me to use my time off to see them and to love on them. So I decided to give them a Christmas advent calendar with 24 little presents, one to open as they count down December, with a little tag with a scripture on it. Everyone pitched in to make the cutest little candy Santa sleighs (we even made them for my PSP-homeroom class at at school), sweet treats and goofy little games. I am super excited to mail it to McKay in time for them to start the fun on December 1… at least I hope they think it is fun. I am tired after this long day, but it was worth it!

Today I am thankful John fixed the antenna for the TV so I can watch the Thanksgiving parade tomorrow. At least that tradition isn’t completely cancelled.

Today I am grateful that I got to over hear my girls learn a song in the other room. They will sound amazing in the recording for Sacrament meeting later on.

Today I am thankful for my Jo. She called me today. I miss her! I wish the circumstances of life allowed us to be closer in proximity to each other.

Today I am thankful for yummy simple foods that are nutritious. We live in an amazing time when and where food is available. What a blessing!

What are you thankful for today?
