I am a little bummed that my internet wasn’t working yesterday and I wasn’t able to get my blog post done. It broke my 11 day streak! Gah! But I did have some things to be grateful for: I found my lost wallet. We had two successful performances of Schoolhouse Rock. Our friend, Jenni B came to see the show. She’s awesome and I’ve missed her being around. Our cast party was the funnest cast party I’ve ever attended (we went bowling). John went grocery shopping for me at the end of the day because I ran out of time. He also worked on the videos of all the shows. I am hoping to give them away at Thespian Inductions in a couple weeks.
Today is Mother’s Day. I am grateful John got me the over-sized, wide margin-ed scriptures I wanted. I am grateful that I got a few hours to myself to start writing in those scriptures all the notes I had in scripture study. I am grateful that Lilli made me breakfast. I am grateful that Lilli and John got the pool up for those upcoming hot days. I am grateful that McKay and Myles came over with the kids and ate dinner and chatted with Hannah. I am grateful for the Skype call with Hannah. I didn’t really get to chat much with her. I let everyone who doesn’t really get to talk to her much talk. I am blessed that I get to talk or text on Mondays. I am grateful that John cleaned up after dinner… and helped me change the sheets on the bed. I am grateful for a beautiful spring day!

The wide edged scriptures sound really cool. How wide are the margins? I have seen some people doing art journaling in scriptures with wide margins, and it seems like a really fun idea.
I mostly take notes in my margins, but I’d love to have the time to do some art too. The margins are about 1 1/2 inches. I found them as a PDF at http://www.bradjackman.com/wide-margin-edition-all-standard-works/ I took the file to a local copy store and had it printed and spiral bound. So far, it’s totally been worth it. I love it! I just have too many thoughts to write down while I study. Regular scriptures just didn’t allow me to write all I wanted. Check it out!
