Today Lilli and I got up early, packed a lunch, and went on an adventure. First we stopped at a garage sale. I am thankful we were able to find some cute clothes for Lilli at a great price. She was pleased. Then we got gas, hit the grocery store and stopped at the fruit stand. We were going to see my dad on the adventure and I wanted to give him his favorite, strawberries. I am grateful they had some great strawberries, blueberries and cherries. Then, we stopped at McKay’s former neighbor and picked up some Amazon packages for McKay be fore hitting the road. I am grateful that McKay and the kids, and my parents agreed to meet us at a lake for lunch. I am grateful we found a decent place to play and cook a few hot dogs. We traveled 2 1/2 hours each way, but they traveled 1 1/2 hours. I think it was worth it. I had a ton of fun playing with the kids and visiting.
Today I am grateful that Lilli and John unloaded the car when we got home. My hips were asleep.
Today I am grateful to chat with Hannah. I am grateful she is safe, but she doesn’t feel well. I hope she takes care of herself.
Today I am grateful that John works hard at work and on projects around the house.
Today I am grateful for the fun little chats I had with Lilli while we drove. I sure love that kid.
