Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 135 and Day 136

Wow! I spent the last two days in bed. I experienced nausea, stomach pain, and dizziness. I am a little weak this morning, but I have a big event at school so I am going to go and do my best to make it through the day. Today I am most grateful for my Lilli… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 135 and Day 136

Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 133 and Day 134

I was so tired yesterday I forgot to say what I was grateful for... oops. Oddly, I did think about it during end of the day prayers. I thought about how thankful I was to have a job I like. I thought about how grateful I was that Lilli cheerfully joins us for family scripture… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 133 and Day 134

Usually, Conference Weekend is my favorite weekend of the year. This Conference Weekend I didn't get to listen much to conference. I was at the State Thespian Conference on Saturday. I had brought my headphone to listen to the sessions in the lobby... but they weren't charged and then the internet went down. On Sunday… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 132

Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 130

Oh how I love this quote. It is a principle I wish I had figured out sooner in life. When my kids were little I felt stressed. Many days I choose to be unhappy. I choose to feel trapped. I missed seeing the joy of their discoveries and their learning because I was too focused… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 130

Amen! Today I went to day 1 of the State Thespian Conference in Salem, Oregon. I spent most of the day judging stage management. I… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 129

Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 128

I love this quote. First, what's not to love from Winnie the Pooh and Piglet? Second, I too feel like I have a very small heart, yet I am beginning to notice the gratitude filling it. Today I am grateful for my husband, who although today is his birthday, he is in the other room… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 128

Today I am grateful for a new student. I am grateful for a surprise sub job that will give me a little extra cash. I am grateful for a couple hours of rejuvenating time with my Chinese acupressure friends. I am grateful my quick dinner worked and was tasty. Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 126

Okay... so here is a little story. So, I have been studying along with the Come Follow Me program fairly well. Today I was reading and pondering Matt. 16:13-18. These verses made me think of a talk by President Russell M. Nelson, Revelation for the Church, Revelation for Yourself... or something like that. I found… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 126
