Marching into March

Well... we got our Snow Day... two of them. It wasn't very much snow, but it was icy and by the time the roads would have cleared, it wouldn't have been worth having school. Thus, we didn't have school on Monday and we didn't have school on Wednesday. I relish a good snow day because… Continue reading Marching into March

Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 100 and Day 101

Wow! Two very long days. I am grateful for my first born. With her help I grew up. She is beautiful, sensitive, creative, passionate, a great mom, and a great cheer leader for her siblings. She came into life 5 weeks early. She is a fighter. I am grateful she is my daughter. I am… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 100 and Day 101

Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 97 and Day 98

Yesterday was a busy day... home late... yet still much to be thankful for. Rehearsal went well... came home to a clean kitchen and some veggies made just for me. Today was a snow day. Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 96

It's been a good day - a day relaxing and taking a mental break from our usual Mondays. Today I am thankful for a "snow day." We didn't have much snow. What we had came with ice and made it difficult for buses to get around. As a result, the school district declared a snow… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 96

Most of February has been consumed with rehearsals for Fiddler on the Roof. I worked extra hard to get all my tech pieces together because McKay's baby could come any minute and I needed the show to able to move on whether I was there calling the shots or not. I really like how the… Continue reading Wrapping up February

Today I am grateful for a new grand daughter. I am grateful that the doctors kept my daughter and the baby safe through labor and delivery. I am grateful the labor and the delivery went quickly. I am grateful that my show really was ready enough for me to leave and they could still function.… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 93

Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 89, Day 90, and Day 91

This time I have a good excuse for not writing over the past couple of days. McKay has needed my help. On Monday evening I ran out of the house because McKay said she was having contractions. After helping with bedtime, we headed to the hospital for a bit. They eventually sent us home and… Continue reading Developing an Attitude of Gratitude – Day 89, Day 90, and Day 91
