I have been struggling about what to write for Family Friday this week because I didn’t get any pictures and our week has been ordinary and usual. Then it dawned on me, EVERY DAY is a family day! Family comes first… even on busy weeks our activities reflect that family comes first.
The importance of family can not be overstated. Family is the gift that God gives us at birth. Families are the first nurturers, educators, protectors, and caregivers. Somethings never change. Most of my children are grown and moving on, some even starting families of their own. I still nurture. I still educate. I still protect. I still care. I still comfort.
Here are a few reasons why my family comes first:

I am loving my oils today!
Today I have have to say how satisfied I am with essential oils. I have used oils for years and I have many reasons why I have done away with a medicine cabinet and filled my house with sweet smelling oils.
They WORK! I really don’t know what else I can add to that that comments. Oils seriously have changed my world. Nearly every day we reach for an essential oils again and again. Now we use peppermint for tummies, and lavender, for calming. Lemon drops are in the gallons of water I drink.
Essential oils can be used in many ways: aromatically, topically, and internally. (I do need to add that not every oil should be taken internally. Be sure to read the bottle. If it doesn’t say “for dietary use” you should probably not swallow it).
