Tomorrow we open our latest production at school… The Bully Plays. The Bully Plays are a collection of 10 minute plays created to inspire the end of bullying. However, I have to admit that I am confused as to why this is an issue. Whatever happened to “The Golden Rule?” Has the Golden Rule gone out of style?
“Treat others the way you want to be treated,” How many times have I heard that in my life? It was a lesson my mom taught me before I even got to school. I heard this lesson although elementary school, junior high, and a bit in high school. Throughout my entire life I have always thought of it and tried my best to live it.

Eating well is worth the work!
I’d say I had an ok week eating wise. I do need to get a handle on what time of day I eat. I often get home late and end up eating dinner around 9 or 10 pm. With my busy schedule (work/school, rehearsals, and performances) I need to find a way to prep and pack 2 meals. Time is such an issue.

Some gifts are worth the work to keep!
This past Christmas we gave my daughter a new cell phone. This phone can help her to keep in touch with her parents. This phone can give her knowledge when she has a desire to search. This phone can guide her when she needs direction. This phone can help her to stay connected to things of importance. This phone has a flash light and can illuminate her way. When she is lost, this phone can help us to find her. This phone is constantly with her!
This gift of a phone is kind of like the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
Okay… I may be stretching it a bit, but stick with me. Hopefully, I can make it all make sense.
