#bethelight – Day 164

I feel like I see so much judgement in the world today... Lots and lots of pointing fingers.  Today I have a simple suggestion for an act of kindness: Be empathetic – Really try to put yourself in the other person’s shoes.  Try your best to understand their experiences, challenges and thought process. "If you can learn a… Continue reading #bethelight – Day 164

Adulting 101 – Real Adults are on Time

I am finding that many do not value punctuality. I find that we fail to see that punctuality is related to discipline and self mastery, to integrity and respect. Punctuality is a character trait real adults develop. Real adults are on time! William Makepeace Thayer stated, "The habit of being prompt once formed extends to… Continue reading Adulting 101 – Real Adults are on Time

#bethelight – Day 162

Today I subbed for my friend.  I taught a ton of voice lessons.  I bought some snacks for my daughter.  I was pleasant and understanding while delivering hard news to a group of students.  Sometimes it is hard to stay positive on long hard days.  Staying positive is a great act of kindness!  Stay positive!
